Cynde bio

Cynde Lomonte owned and directed Cynde Lomonte’s Dance Dimensions for 43 of her 45 years of teaching. Receiving her dance degree, she was also on faculty at Lamar University. Cynde is a certified Teacher and National Examiner for Dance Masters of America, Inc. and South Texas Association of Dance Teachers, Inc. She teaches master classes at Conventions and judges for State and National Competitions throughout the US and Canada.  CLDD dancers have won many awards for choreography, performance and technical excellence.  Past President of the South Texas Association of Dance Teachers, Cynde originated the chapter’s Performing Arts Competition and headed up the formation of the Dance Masters Jr. Membership organization.  Cynde has served on many DMA national planning committees and has been the Director of National Title Pageants. She has been a judge for DMA national pageants, national scholarship auditions and the national Performing Arts Competition.  Cynde has had many students go on to teaching and professional dance careers. Her daughter Natalie has been enjoying her career as a performer, choreographer, movement director and teacher, living in NYC for 22 years.
